MARKUS PRIVAT

Markus Privat is probably one of the most versatile trumpeters in Germany, due to his busy activities in almost all musical genres.

After studying music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt with Professor David Tasa (principal trumpet of the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra), he went on to do postgraduate studies in jazz and popular music at the same university. Additional lessons and participation in courses with renowned trumpeters such as Andy Haderer, Ack van Royen and Wayne Bergeron formed a further building block for his wide-ranging musical education.

In addition to his full-time place as 1st solo trumpet player in the Rhineland-Palatinate State Police Orchestra, Markus Privat is valued as a substitute in the hr-Big Band as well as in the cultural and theatre orchestras of the Rhine-Main area, the Johann Strauss Orchestras Frankfurt and Wiesbaden and the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra. Other ensembles to date include hr-Brass, the brass section of the hr-Sinfonieorchester and the Munich Bach Soloists.

His activities as a permanent member of the famous "Egerländer Musikanten - Das Original" deserve special mention. Here Markus already played under the direction of the founder of this worldwide successful formation, the legendary Ernst Mosch.

Markus has also made a name for himself as a studio musician and his special trumpet sound can be heard on numerous vocal and instrumental productions.

He has been and continues to be engaged for various musical productions, which is further proof of the enormous range of his musical work.

He has also appeared in numerous radio and TV productions and performed with many well-known stars, such as Helene Fischer.

Concert tours have taken him to many countries around the world, the highlight of which was undoubtedly a performance in the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York.

The trumpets of Vincent Bach have accompanied Markus Privat since the beginning of his musical career. The unique "Bach sound" has always inspired him and has therefore made the trumpet models of the Stradivarius series his preferred choice.

Of great importance to him are the particularly diverse musical possibilities of these legendary instruments, coupled with an excellent response and stable intonation; factors that are extremely important for his diverse musical requirements and which Markus Privat trusts.
